what about eggs that are harvested for fertilization purposes but not used

what about fertilized eggs used in in vitro procedures that are not implanted

should mankind mess with the whole baby making process

why do we do it? because we can and to hell with the religious input

Ova are ova - does not matter.

Fertilized ova - techniques have improved greatly on in vitro fertilization. No need to do them in large bunches any longer. Fertilize as needed for the implanting process, and any controversy about extras goes away. (Ditto goes for implanting large quantities. One or two at a time will work using modern techniques.)

Good Luck has intimate knowledge of the finesse required to do an In Vitro prodedure. He has seven different MD's and a license to practice Psychiatry and Electrical Engineering to boot.
