I certainly dont....

This guy panders to the worst parts of the Republican base yet the media gives him a pass on it....Cause they love the maverick persona...The straight talk express routine...All of it is pure bullshit....but it seems alot of people including alot of democrats on JPP eat it up like Jarod....Who seem to be drooling over McCain...


A Republican Maverick that panders to the religious leaders after denouncing them as agents of intolerance....

A Republican Maverick that derided Bush tax cuts as voodoo economics and now says that they actually helped the economy....

A Republican Maverick that was all for comprehensive immigration reform until he decided that building better border fences was the way to go

A Republican Maverick that said the US government messed up in organizing Iraq and now believes in the "Surge"

A Republican Maverick that believed in "states-rights" in terms of the Confederate flag, and now admits that he did it out of political calculations...


What type of Maverick is this? This seems more like a straight down the line conservative to me.....

The type of Maverick that believes in McCain-Feingold...and now says that the law is unconstitutional and admits he wouldnt vote for his own law if it occured now....

Who cares? If people are voting for him because he is a "maverick" then they are just as stupid as the people who are voting for Obama without knowing anything other than he says "Change" often and talks positively.
 
When he does secure the Republican nomination, if he lives to the general election he will go down in flames against Obama.

He's still for comprehensive immigration reform. Fences are just a focal point to be bizarrely adamant about to the point that it stops the rest of the conversation about immigration.

Massively increasing allowable immigration still has the depressionary wage effect.
