Inflation Cools Ahead of Fed Meeting

Just hours before the release of the Federal Reserve’s latest rate decision, fresh inflation data showed that price increases slowed notably in May.

The new report is a sign that inflation is cooling again after proving sticky early in 2024, and it could help to inform Fed officials as they set out a future path for interest rates. Policymakers had embraced a rapid slowdown in price increases in 2023, but have turned more cautious after inflation progress stalled early this year. The latest data could help to restore their conviction that inflation is in the process of returning to the central bank’s goal.

Inflation hasn't cooled
...
Inflation is one of those things that is impossible to hide. It has clearly cooled. You can argue that it has not cooled enough... But your current argument is just a lie.

Well obviously it hasn't cooled enough for many people to live comfortably... As i've said many times before statistics don't pay bills...

The Great Depression had deflation (the opposite of inflation), and few people were living comfortably through that.

that was from the banking system trying to destroy the American nation.

but they had not sufficiently broken our connectons to the natural world, so it didn't work.

now they've centralized control of the supply chain, and are imposing green austerity to mass murder people.
