The Iranian regime has chosen suicide. True, it will take some time for the logical conclusion of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s fatal and probably irreversible course of action to play out. Like a pre-AI automaton incapable of adapting to the input of new information, the BBC will continue to blather about Iran’s capacity for “strategic patience” and the risks of Israel “dragging” the US into a regional war.

But one thing seems clear: the Iranian theocracy has now entered a death loop. Unless Israel throws it a lifeline, it is increasingly likely that Tehran faces either a Soviet-style collapse amid a regional war it cannot afford, or bloody regime change as the revolution is eaten by its children.

As I listen to Scott Ritter on Judge Nap the idea floated into my brain that likely Iran will strike only military sites, mostly they will work on the so called Iron Dome....and they will be enormously successful.

This is not a prediction, this is a thought.
 
Will certainly hit command and control.....aiming to take out some of the leadership as penalty for their lawlessness.

Only a nutjob would launch a nuke since, if the other side has nukes too, it’s mutual destruction. India-Pakistan is an example. Iran wants nukes for the same reason Israel did; to prevent invasion. Notice that when Israel got nukes, the conventional wars stopped and the asymmetrical warfare started.

Iran had to retaliate after Israels' attack of the Irani embassy. That is how politics works. The attack seems to be mostly show. It was telegraphed and mostly the drones were shot down. Oddly, it was an attempt at de-escalation.
