i thought that part of the problem is that lending institutions got so big that we had to bail (rescue) them and could not let them fail

so what is happening, some lending institutions are buying out failing ones and getting bigger

when will we learn

Yeah I brought that up a few times.
Also we have not changed rules to prevent this same thing from happening again.

As a nation we are pretty stupid.
