Well people figuring out that the whole save the planet program is a New Slaver fraud designed to drive us into the chains that have been built for us sorta puts a damper on EV's.
 
Another thing I notice is that the Chinese adore meat, they eat a lot of meat, the Party promises that there will never be a shortage of meat...as we are told to get ready to eat bugs, like it or not, the deciders have decided that this is required to save the planet.
