The MAGA's eat the insults and dopey nicknames up w/ a spoon. That will be a good 80% of Trump's presentation in the debate, so they will love it and think he won handily when it's over.

It's hard to see Harris not winning on points. I expect her to focus more on the issues, and she'll be good in terms of not getting sucked into Trump's vortex of meaningless negativity.

And she probably wins expectations. People know what to expect of Trump, and the entire right has spent weeks building her up as a vapid DEI hire who lacks intelligence. Which is weird, because she has been in debates previously, and has been pretty on point in some of them.

Who decides which candidate won?

Everybody will have an opinion,
but as we all know,
opinions are like assholes--
everybody has one and it's often full of shit.

I will make this safe prediction, assuming Trump actually shows up.

Vice President Harris will comport herself like a professional and a leader.
Trump will make no effort to disguise the fact that he's a pigfucking orangutan.
 
She is not the prosecutor, she has to defend this awful administration and her many flip flops.
