We're finally going to see some live Major League Baseball starting just two weeks from today, on Thursday, July 23rd. Awesome! There will be no one in the ballparks except media personnel and baseball scouts, but the games WILL be televised.
 
Bad news for Angels fans. Mike Trout, perhaps THE best player in baseball over the last 7-8 seasons, will most likely sit out this abbreviated season of 60 games because he has a young wife and infant child at home. I can't say I blame him.

I think if you're not excited about baseball starting up again, you're NOT a real baseball fan. I've been a fan since 1969, when I was 8 years old, and the game has given me much enjoyment over the years. I don't care about inflated salaries and inflated egos, I only care about the GAME.
