He embarked on a tougher approach to antitrust law to enhance competition. And he favors higher taxes on the wealthy and corporations to expand access to child care, health coverage and other forms of social insurance.

When GM has to pay more taxes they just tack on a higher price on their cars and the car buyer has to pay more for the car. GM really doesn't pay the tax the consumer pays the tax and it makes our cars LESS competitive on the World market. Fewer American cars means fewer car workers.
