For months his pro-Hillary columns didn't bother me. I believed that he had laid out his case that universal health care must be the foundation of any new progressive movement. And he belived Obama's plan to be fatally flawed. I respected his position.
But he's become a hack now. A week ago he wrote a column bemoaning Obama's stump speech which seemed to conflate the Clinton adminstration with the W adminstration. Krugman said that progressives cannot do that to each other, and anyone claiming that the Clinton years weren't good economically was a liar.
Today he wrote a column celebrating the death of the "magical hero" and actually stated that hillary's Osama ad wasn't that bad.
I wonder what it is that he wants. The fed chair or treasury secretary? And I wonder why he decided Obama wouldn't give it to him.
