first - is it possible to mail (usps or ups) a turpentine soaked corn cob (non-leaky package)

second - if so, would it be considered a terrorist threat if mailed to the president with instructions as to where he should place it, ;-)

You'd have to check to see if turpentine is a hazardous material. You have to inform the delivery company if you're shipping hazardous materials or you could be brought up on felony charges.

As for the terrorist threat... well, it doesn't sound like a threat as much as a suggestion.

You'd haveto check with how to UPS it. The postal service wouldn't take it if they knew what it was. Its a flammable liquid, so it isn't legal to mail.
