One thing he hopes to do better on the road to the White House is to do a “better job” explaining socialism.
“I think what we have to do, and I will be doing it, is to do a better job maybe in explaining what we mean by socialism — democratic socialism,” Sanders told National Public Radio’s (NPR) Morning Edition on Monday. “Obviously, my right-wing colleagues here want to paint that as authoritarianism and communism and Venezuela, and that’s nonsense.”
Sanders claims that the distinction between socialism and democratic socialism is the latter will bring about a “vibrant democracy” and that his critics are engaged in voter suppression.
“What I mean by democratic socialist is that I want a vibrant democracy,” Sanders said. “I find it interesting that people who criticize me are busy actively invoked in voter suppression trying to keep people of color or low-income people from voting because they don’t want a vibrant democracy. I do.”

The Crazy Old Coot (CROC) is getting ripe trying to put the same shade of lipstick on two different pigs:
1. Socialism.
2. Democracy.
Bernie’s supporters have nothing to fear. Lenin, Mark, and Gorbachev will give the CROC a helping hand:

USSR is an acronym for UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS. Which one had more territory was the only difference between Hitler and Stalin. Stalin had it and Hitler wanted it. Lebensraum was Hitler’s justification.
NOTE: Hitler had one standing order Nazi Party recruiters obeyed throughout his rise to power: ‘Recruit new members from the ranks of the Communists because they always make the best Fascists.’
Once in power Hitler had no use for those German Communists/Socialists who were more loyal to the USSR than they were to Germany.
They are ignorant. The first thing Hitler did was put Communists and Socialist in Dachau.
Not only was Hitler not a socialist himself, nor a communist, but he actually hated these ideologies and did his utmost to eradicate them. ‘National Socialism’ was not socialism, but a different, fascist ideology.
