ATLANTA — Mark Meadows, Donald Trump’s former White House chief of staff, took his battle to throw out the Georgia election interference case against him to the U.S. Supreme Court, asking the high court to overturn a lower-court ruling that rejected claims that his alleged conduct was tied to his official federal duties.

Based on the recent idiotic SCOTUS ruling, he might have a case, any evidence obtained concerning conversations or dealings with Trump could fall under the “presumptive immunity” bullshit and would have to be dismissed from the case. If this ruling were in effect during Nixon’s era Nixon would never had been impeached
 
Might be a helpful case if the Court uses it for some second thoughts on its last "offical duties" ruling and not extend that ruling to everyone holding a government job..
