Here we have the great police state of Massachusetts, where the courts ignore supreme court precedent and uphold a conviction of a man who didn't have a trigger lock on his rifle and where prosecutors decline to refile charges on a state trooper who didn't secure his handgun, allowing his toddler to pick it up and actually kill someone with it.
