maybe 8400 rather than 8000

seems that 8400 is the magic number below which the dow jones industrial average does not want to close

a lot of bargains out there - bank of america (they are the ones that bought out countrywide) is selling for about half of what it was two years ago, but still declares dividends...

For now.... There have been several of these pause points so far with each succesive one being lower.
