I hate Trump but if you view an election as a zero sum game as many do and your other option is Hillary then to some Trump is still a better alternative because Hillary is that bad.
Think about it. She could barely beat a 70 year old socialist. There were four or five Bernie supporters on this board who almost never spoke about him and I surmise it was because they know how bad he was.
