John McCain has done what Barack Obama was too scared to do. He nominated Tits and Vajayjay! Barack Obama had his chance to nominate Tits and Vajayjay but he backed out and nominated a slimeball Pro-Choice Catholic. By nominating Sarah Palin John McCain has shown the courage to nominate the Vajayjay. Now you Hillary supporters have somewhere to turn. Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton have so much in common. Sarah Palin says that if a man rapes you and impregnates you you should be FORCED to carry your rapists baby to term. Hillary Clinton has a Vajayjay. Sarah Palin believes that schools should be required to teach that some man in the sky with a robe and beard created the earth. Hillary Clinton has tits. When you get right down to it, the two women are almost carbon copies of one another. So Hillary supporters, when you step into that voting booth in Novermber, Vote Vajayjay!

As I'm sure you know, no Hillary voter (especially the holdouts who were by and large, second wavers), is going to vote for a ticket that would force their daughters to have the baby of a rapist.

I really hold back on this. Today, SF went on, at some length, as if he actually thought I would give a rat's behind, about how he "struggles" with what to do about women who are pregnant as the result of a rape. Can you imagine? As if the women of America were sitting around waiting to find out what that jackass has decided their options, post-rape, are.

I didn't go off, but if I ever do, it's going to be really bad. I honestly know of no more offensive, outrageous, disgusting, contemptable position, for a man OR woman to hold, than that one.

It will happen over the dead bodies of women all across this country, in other words; never gonna happen. Women have already checked in on this, amazingly before the "struggling" SF revealed his decision on the matter.

The thing that I find interesting is that there is not MORE talk about the sexist attitude of this selection. The republicans REALLY seem to think that one woman replaces another. To HELL with the fact that other than chomosomes, Palin and Clinton have nothing in common. And the fact that Palin believes that EVEN in instances of Rape and Incest there should be no ability to abort the child should paint that distiction most vividly. The Republican Platform for the first time says there should be NO EXCEPTIONS to a ban on abortion. So if you are molested by your dad you MUST carry that child to term. If you are raped brutally you MUST carry the child. At least now we know how crazy the Republicans truly are.

But watch diebold make the strategy work.

Yes, they have a radically anti-woman agenda this year. The platform is outrageous, but what I think is most offensive, is this idea that if you pick a woman who will get on her knees, call it feminism and sell it for you, that this is somehow something women should get behind. It has always been an insidious strategy of Republicans to find women who are double authoritarians, that is – slavishly love taking orders from authoritarian men, while at the same time, enjoy giving orders to other women – and playing them as “feminists” because they have used their actual anti-feminism, to rise within the ranks of the religious-right movement.

At its core, it is using a few backwards women, to keep all women down, and calling THAT, feminism.

It is contemptible. It is transparent. Women (besides for the ones like SF), will roundly reject it.

But, I will tell you who loves it. Right wing men, and enough blue collar types, to make it a dangerous ploy. In our pornified society, putting an attractive face on this sort of woman, putting a faux cloak of power around her, and then putting her on her knees – is a powerful, powerful lure. Just look at the number of men on here already walking around with their you know what’s in their hands. Read the posts. And it’s not just here. It’s all over the internet.

Do you remember what Jack Nicholson said in A Few Good Men? Because that is what this is in a nutshell.

Jeez - I didn't realize that Palin was one of those that thinks abortion shouldn't be allowed even in the case of rape. Is that really true? I'll have to look that up.

That's crazy; that's just flat-out crazy. I can't even begin to comprehend the mind that thinks that way, much less thinks that it represents "God's will."

I cannot believe there isn't a stronger reaction to the "who is going to take care of her children" questions.

I think that is about as insulting to women as it gets.

Listen, you need to get something. She wants to FORCE me, if raped, to carry to term if impregnated by the rapist. If you believe that there is anything more "insulting to women as it gets" than THAT, you're a man.

I don’t care about anything but that. I don’t care if Sarah Palin isn’t being treated faiiirrllly.

Start a collection for her. Don’t ask me to contribute. I’m too busy worrying
about the women, girls, and even children, who will have the state own their bodies, be sexually brutalized, and then forced by the state to bear children that result.

That’s what I care about. Fuck Sarah Palin.

Further, I don’t know who is saying the things you are talking about. AND, when you put having given birth to five children on your resume, which MEN DO NOT DO, then you are putting something on the table that really doesn’t belong there.

I ha ve to agree--that being a very attractive and strong willed woman will help her more the people forward in this country--but it is her caractor that is the driving force. She has her own caractor--not a party caractor.

Want a shocker?--Mike Savage wants her to drop out. I thought he would see her as a perfect choice.

Given that we have now had at least three threads on the abortion issue, I will not go into it yet again. But there are many of you on the left that also share the opinion that she was selected because of her tits and vajayjay blah blah blah.

This was NOT just a pick based on her gender... though that was certainly a part of it. It was ALSO a pick to shore up the RR base, to energize them (which as you can see... it did). It was also a pick that countered the whole "McCain is out of touch" argument. Her families blue collar background also had an appeal due to the potential to sway some blue collar dems that Obama had trouble connecting with. Will it sway a lot? Doubtful, but in close swing states it may provide just enough of an edge to help carry the state.

I do get that. I also get that the vice-president does not get to pass laws or put federal judges on the bench. I get that what she wants to do goes against a lot of women.

But I also get that the "who will take care of her children" bullshit is a method of keeping ALL women down. I get that the sentiments expressed (by not just conservatives) treat her as if she were a nanny instead of a woman with career goals of her.

I understand that the idea of making women carry a baby conceived by rape or abuse is a horrible thing. Talking to me like I am ignoring that is bullshit. No, I can't get pregnant because of a rape, but I have lost more than you know because of the abuse of a woman. So I GET what it means and what the revocation of Roe V Wade means.

You are a sexist pig, as well as a sub-human piece of garbage.

Get the fuck out of my country.

And one more tidbit, if she isn't being treated fairly then we ALL should be pissed off.

We should be pissed if the rapists, murderers and child molesters aren't teated fairly by our society.

We should all be pissed whenever ANYONE isn't treated fairly. You can dislike her, hate her or be her biggest fan. That doesn't matter on iota to me.

But the rules are the same across the board or the rules aren't worth wiping your ass with. The same indignation and venom should be thrown at people who demean and downgrade women, regardless of WHICH women they demean.

You have a serious comprehension problem and I can only deal with one SF at a time.

You don't know what you're talking about.

I think my comprehension is fine.

In responding to my post you wrote "I don’t care about anything but that. I don’t care if Sarah Palin isn’t being treated faiiirrllly.

And I responded to that portion of the post.

I am not SF, I am simply posting in response to something I saw as serious.

Ok all things being equal, do you think that he would have chosen a man with her credentials? I was watching Joe Scarborough this morning and even he says "no way". He says the party would have had a fit over that selection as well. Vetted only 24 hours in advance, met with McCain for only 3 hours and that was their FIRST EVER meeting. There is NO WAY a man with her creds would have been selected. Not over Pawlenty even.

Most likely no. I think had Palin been a man, McCain would have gone with Pawlenty or Romney. It is possible he still would have done it, but not likely. The reason for that is Palins attack on corruption within the Rep ranks is an added bonus. Pawlenty or Romney would not have offered that. Not enough to put a male version of Palin over those two, but it might have still been very tempting.

Like I said, her being a woman certainly was a factor, probably the deciding factor over Pawlenty. But her attack on the Rep corruption, her blue collar conservative background, her attack on big oil, her energy experience and her youth were also factors in the decision.
