McCain's Road to 270 is not paved. Hell it's not even graded.

The map located HERE gives each state to the candidate that is leading there no matter how slim. If you change over to the "Create Your Senario" tab above the map and leave those states in their color and then color in the states that have no polls but base them on who typically wins you put ID, ND and SD in the McCain column. Giving him 174 electoral college votes. Then give HI, DE, MD, VT, and DC in Obama's column he has 364 EC Votes. With the economy really freaking out everyone, I don't see McCain getting back OH, MI or PA. He could still win VA and NC but that makes it 336 to 202. So lets go ahead and call bullshit on MO as well. That puts it at 325 to 213. The rest of the states, including CO seem to be widening for Obama. I don't see any road to 270 for McCain, absent some real serious october suprise.

Here's a miracle for Mccain. It's the only scenario under which he could win. As I said before, to win he not only has to get every single tied state but cut into territory that is weak for Obama, and Obama can't get any territory weak for McCain. And pigs have to fly too.
