Ha, just kidding. I think Obama's stimulus was too small, and not weighted enough for infrastructure.

But, it sure was a hell of a lot better than the republican plan of shrinking public expenditures, and letting the banks collapse.

It is a start, if he had made it too big, the angry people would never pass it! It might create jobs! It might be socialism!
 
Alaska gets huge amounts of money to spend from oil wealth, so they don't have to have taxes, and the government can even just send out checks to people. On top of that the federal government gives them buckets of cash because of their powerful congressional delegation (small states tend to have powerful congressional delegations, because elections are rarely competitive, and the system in congress rewards seniority only).

Then again, you guys are frozen 24/7/365, so maybe it isn't so great.
