-- Social Security tax: The amount of annual wages subject to the Social Security tax will rise to $102,000 in 2008 from $97,500. The 4.6 percent increase is based on the increase in average wages. About 12 million workers will pay higher tax next year as a result.

Does anyone know if this is going to be implemented? That's a HUGE increase.

lt, I almost embarrased to say I thought the limit was 92. And not really dreading Jan.
I put about 2,500 mo in stocks and live way below my pay not really sure what's the monthly stuff in the account is. Wife takes care of that and it drives her crazy that I could care less.
