New additions to the family

I got three new dogs last Friday and have been working diligently when I can to keep them in the yard. Two of them are pure bred Beagles (The boy named one Shiloh and I named the other Knot-head) and the other is a Dachsund/Beagle cross, chocolate brown on the upper half and peanut butter tan on the lower half...we named him Recees. They are all three excellent rabbit dogs and we had a blast (pun intended) hunting rabbits with them and my old Beagle on Saturday. This introduces my boy to another great type of hunting that he has heretofore not experienced...and he loves it and loves these dogs. Will post some pics when they are still long enough to get them.

Amen. This particular one has scar tissue on top of his head because he stubbornly dug out from under the string of barbed wire that was around his pen when he was a pup. They're all really great rabbit dogs though. Make some sweet music.

Yep. One of mine used to play with a ball at the top of the stairs. He'd carry it up, drop it and watch it roll down the steps, run down and get it and repeat the process until he got tired.
