I know we have several New Yorkers on the board (and people from New Jersey). I've seen the arguments for and against this. What are your thoughts from a local perspective?

Hochul wants to delay the June 30 start date of the plan to charge a $15 toll on people who drive into Manhattan to fund public transportation, according to people familiar with the discussions. The nation’s first congestion pricing plan was signed into law in 2019 by then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The toll plan has faced opposition from unions, business owners and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.
Congestion pricing would help the flow of traffic, improve air quality and help fund $15 billion in mass transit improvements, leaders of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority have said.
New Jersey has challenged the congestion pricing plan in court and sued the U.S. Department of Transportation in 2023 for its role approving the toll. The Murphy administration said the federal government should conduct a more complete environmental-impact study of the plan.
