Because it was used in at least one robbery. And certain enterprising individuals with assault CPUs posted the names and addresses of people who worked there, and subscribers.

The damage has already been done.
Criminals are right now planning elaborate schemes to steal weapons from the database given them by their liberal pals.

Other less elaborate criminals know which homes are unarmed, any home not on that list that has been subject of a crime since the data was given to criminals is directly resulting from this data.
