No more Russian vacations

Sad news for Brad Raffensperger, Georgia Secretary of State, and Letitia James, New York Attorney General. They are included on the latest Russian sanctions list (that is, to be clear, sanctions imposed by Russia on US citizens).

The Russian Foreign Ministry says the sanctions are directed against “those in government and law enforcement who are directly involved in the persecution of dissidents in the wake of the so-called storming of the Capitol”. They don’t say whether Donald Trump advised them.

Next: the Kremlin is to consider condemning the common American practice of poisoning political opponents.

I've always thought that a vacation to Russia was a fabulous idea.

The hotels,
the restaurants,
the theaters and night clubs,
the casinos,
the golf courses...the whole package--
who wouldn't think of Russia first?
