this last week in santa barbara county, california, fire left its legacy again
the 'tea' fire swept through the suburb of montecito and part of santa barbara city driven by high winds (50+knots sustained and gusts of up to 70 knots) for the second time in a year (the last one was the 'gap' fire that burned parts of santa barbara county and the city goleta)
over 210 homes were destroyed (some worth over $20 million)
the videos of the destroyed homes and the wreckage left behind (usually just ashes) reminds us of the loss we would experience if our homes were totally destroyed
mother nature is not done with us and i expect will wreck greater harm in the future - insurance helps but it may be a good idea to put your family photos (or copies) in a safe place
