not only no, but hell no

positioning herself as a Libertarian?

A number of people who heard the speech in a packed hotel ballroom, which was closed to the media, said Mrs. Palin spoke from notes for 90 minutes and that she was articulate, well-prepared and even compelling.

“The speech was wide-ranging, very balanced, and she beat all expectations,” said Doug A. Coulter, head of private equity in the Asia-Pacific region for LGT Capital Partners.

“She didn’t sound at all like a far-right-wing conservative. She seemed to be positioning herself as a libertarian or a small-c conservative,” he said, adding that she mentioned both Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher. “She brought up both those names.”

we do NOT need her conducting another take over of the party.

Aw why worry about her taking over a party of 10-15 thousand?

are you completely incapable of seeing a big picture?

millions of disenfranchised conservatives will not vote for a mainstream republican anymore because of the fiasco of the Bush years, but they would willingly vote Libertarian if they even consider that a non-entrenched conservative politician is running on that ticket. I give you Sarah Palin, the next president of the US, a Libertarian. We're all doomed.

Four more years for the president, guaranteed!

Not according to the approval ratings I saw.

The main thing to think about is whether or not Obama was elected because people wanted Obama or because they didn't want a republican.

If the latter was the case, then Obama can put himself in a similar spot and allow a 3rd party to make huge gains.

If this is your candidate in 2012, the reelection of President Obama is a lock.

So what you are saying is that Libertarians are party bots as well?

lol at the Mobius Party apologists on this thread.

And hopefully Palin will steer clear of using the intellectually respected designation of libertarian for her uneducated, aimless ramblings.
