How would you explain this away? Someone offered an explanation - he survived because he drank the Holy Grail. Only one problem - it only works within the bounds of the temple's "great seal".

Simple...it's Hollywood. Anytime something didn't make sense in movie and someone pointed it out my kids would just say "It's Hollywood."
