Obama: '2014 can be a breakthrough year for America'

Asked about his flagging poll numbers, Obama insisted that he is used to ups and downs but that he's continuing to push forward with a forward-looking agenda despite being dogged by controversies throughout the first year of his second term.



Obama also said that, despite problems with the troubled HealthCare.gov web site, "millions" of Americans will have affordable health care at the beginning of the year thanks to the Affordable Health Care law.



Asked if 2013 has been the worst year of his presidency, Obama replied "that's not how I think about it."
