Way back in 2,002, I said more and more Communist/Socialist Americans were validating my long-held belief that Socialism is a religion in every manifestation except the ones that includes God. The late Senator Paul Wellstone’s farewell party buttressed my opinion.

Not since the Paul Wellstone funeral have I been so disgusted at the gross politicization of a memorial service. Wellstone, you might remember, was the U.S. senator who died in a plane crash in 2002 less than two weeks before the midterm elections. In an effort to save the seat, Walter Mondale was selected to run, and the funeral services for Wellstone turned into a grossly inappropriate campaign rally.

Finally, everybody who follows the aftermath of a shooting know every talking point on the Left’s long, long, list of accusations —— spoken as though demonizing opponents is the furthest thing from their minds. The list is set in cement —— Democrats trot out the same talking points every time there is a shooting. In fact, it does not take a shooting to setoff Democrats. Liberals went into full attack mode over a plane crash.

The pervert and the Chicago sewer rodent were smart enough to run on the Democrat Party ticket because they know that wannabe presidents are often matched up with previous presidents. Senile Joe Biden is not that bright, but his handlers are smart enough to run hm as a Democrat. If truth be told Biden must be linked to Socialist losers.

1. Eugene V. Debs (1855 - 1926) ran on the Socialist party ticket five times; once when he was in prison. The Socialist Party never pulled more than a million votes in Socialism’s best years. Debs gave the brand name its best election results; just over 900,000 votes in 1912, and in 1920.

2. Norman Thomas (1884 - 1968) became the Socialist Party after Debs died. Thomas ran for president six times on the Socialist ticket. His final run was in 1948.

Norman Thomas founded the National Civil Liberties Bureau during WW I which morphed into the infamous ACLU in 1920. All of those legal fees Americans taxpayers pay for defending illegal aliens originated with ACLU ideology.

Parenthetically, FDR appropriated Social Security from Norman Thomas along with snatching the Socialist Party’s entire platform.

Not that it means anything important, but ultra-liberal Even Thomas is Norman Thomas’ grandson.

Thomas was a writer, correspondent, and editor for thirty-three years at Time and Newsweek, including ten years (1986–96) as Washington bureau chief at Newsweek, where, at the time of his retirement in 2010, he was editor at large. editor for Newsweek for 24 years. Prior to that, he was at Time Magazine.

while I would love to read more about what Republican “Fighting Bob” LaFollette (1855 1925) and Eugene Debs said when they appeared in the same chautauqua. For one thing Lafollette opposed U.S. membership in the League of Nations.

QUESTION: How many Republican Senators today oppose membership in the United Nations? ANSWER: Damn few if any now that the U.S. Senate is a full-fledged nest of traitors.
