Obama signs bill that cuts food stamps

Obama signed a bill Friday that slashes food-stamp help.


The measure cuts food stamps for the needy.


The $800 million annual cut will cost 850,000 food stamp recipients about $90 per month.


In a speech Friday, Obama only indirectly mentioned the cuts.
