Omaha mom devours 363 wings, wins Wing Bowl

PHILADELPHIA (KABC) -- A 5-foot-7, 125-pound mother of four scarfed down a jaw-dropping 363 chicken wings to take home the gold at a wing-eating contest in Philadelphia.

Molly Schuyler devoured the wings over 30 minutes and three rounds at the annual Wing Bowl at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Friday.
The Nebraska native's impressive feat set a new record at Wing Bowl 22. The previous record was held by Takeru Kobayashi, who ate 337 wings at the event in 2012.

She even beat out Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, who ate just 65 wings and was knocked out in round one. However, Schuyler didn't exactly cruise to the top spot. She narrowly defeated fellow competitive eater Patrick Bertoletti, a Chicago native who finished with 356 wings.

Schuyler won $22,000 for her victory, as well as a gold medal and a championship ring.

To qualify for the Wing Bowl, Schuyler ate nine pounds of cottage cheese in 114 seconds. She also holds a world record for eating a 72-ounce steak in less than three minutes.
