Try looking up electoral, presidential and congressional procedures, you simpleton! NOTHING IS ILLEGAL HERE, AS BIDEN HAD NOT BEEN OFFICIALLY DECLARED BY CONVENTION TO BE THE NEXT POTUS CANDIDATE.

To dumb it down for you, he can drop out and nominate whomever he wishes. Technically, it's up to next month's DNC convention to decide if she is indeed the party's choice. Delegates (via local elections) from the registered populace make that decision.
