Palestinian analyst: Hamas had ‘no clear-cut political goal’

We fight, We win
Khaled Hroub, a Palestinian academic and the author of “Hamas: A Beginner’s Guide,” says he believes that Hamas did not expect that the October 7 attack on Israel would be the scale that it became, and the group didn’t have a plan for what came afterward. Speaking to me on Sunday, Hroub also said that Israel’s expected ground invasion of Gaza doesn’t seem to incorporate any planning for the “day after” the war is over.

Nope. They want self-governance. Israel will not permit that. They do not want another 70 years of rule.

Wait a minute... Didn't Hamas get elected to power in Gaza by Gazans? Didn't Israel pull entirely out of Gaza and leave it to the Palestinians to rule and do whatever? How much more fucking 'self-governance' do they need?

So militarily targeting unsuspecting Israeli music festivals, schools, hospitals and taking (including Americans) hostages will achieve this? I say hunt them down and kill them all.

I'm calling bullshit on this. They knew Israel was going to tell the military to stand down. That's the only reason they would have done things the way they did. And...they knew ahead of time. Israel has traitors to hunt.
