If I wanted to destroy a nation, I would start with children and their families.

I would supplant the parents with Government.

I would not educate them and instead, indoctrinate them.

I would teach them to hate their country through CRT.

I would teach them to hate themselves if they were white.

I would tell them they can be any gender they wish to be.

I would allow them to engage in gender mutilation.

I would allow porn in the school library.

I would encourage them to engage in social media apps like Tok Tok

I would permit the educators to exclude parents from their children's education.

I would brand parents who try to engage their school boards as terrorists.
 
US civics scores show the REAL threat to democracy

Can a democracy survive if its youth know nothing about government or civic participation?

The United States is about to find out.

The latest data from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (a k a the nation’s report card) show that almost a third of 8th graders can’t describe the basic functions of our government.

The nationwide average score on the 8th-grade NAEP civics test fell to where it was in 1998 when it was first administered.

Scores in history were below the 1994 first-year level.

We’re back where we started, in other words, with billions of taxpayer dollars spent and literally less than zero to show for it.

Shed a tear for the American Experiment.

In history, 86% of students scored below proficient, and only 1% scored advanced.

The history scores have actually been slipping down since 2014, well before COVID.

Blame the growing emphasis on woke nonsense over actual instruction.

Indeed, poisonous ideologies like critical race theory teach kids that America itself is irredeemably evil.

Can you think of a better way to destroy any interest in — let alone of love of — country among kids?

Teachers unions and educrats won’t demand anything like real instruction. Turning this disaster around is up to Americans who actually care about education — and democracy.

Indeed, here’s a test to try at home: Next time a politician (cough, Joe Biden) pontificates on “threats to our democracy,” listen for even a mention of this one.

Speaking of the D.R., why didn't the white devil tourists destroy that?
And why haven't the white devils destroyed the Bahamas or Hawaii?

Depends on who you talk to. The citizens are genuflecting to wealthy tourists for very low pay.

Yeah, happens all over the Caribbean. What makes Haiti the poorest , by far, shithole in the region when white devils go there the least don't go there for tourism ?

This is why we don't need a federal Department of Education, because it has been the single worst cause of decline in US education.

Another reason for the decline is the push to put barriers to entry into education as an occupation. For example, to be a teacher in the US you have to obtain a teaching certificate from the state you want to teach in. This almost universally requires you attend a university or college and take a number of education classes to be allowed to take the certification testing, or to become certified. Doesn't matter if you are an expert in some field of study like say, math or science and have years of occupational experience in the field. Without the teaching courses you can't become certified.

It's much like the often onerous requirements for such mundane jobs as hair dresser or dog groomer. Those in the field wish to keep scarcity in place to allow raising fees and wages within the field. That's the primary purpose of teacher's unions in education: To force membership and exclude those that might otherwise enter education without going through indoctrination of a college of education, as but one example.

Teacher's unions do not raise standards in education, but rather create barriers to quality education.

The coral reefs of both these beautiful islands are completely destroyed and the natives of these countries all struggle in poverty due to the high cost of the rich taking over. Listen, white ppl are the proprietiers of destruction, own it!!

The rich took over Haiti? Where do they live? Haiti is the poorest shithole in the Caribbean. The GDP per capita of Haiti is about 1/5 that of the next poorest shithole in the Caribbean.
Those other islands must be some of the wealthiest in the world.
The other islands' reefs are thriving. Are you saying the rich only destroyed Haiti's? Interesting.
