I hope this immature dope doesn't get picked up by any team after Hue Jackson kicks him to the curb. Spend the money on someone disciplined who really wants to play the game.

"Johnny Manziel had an altercation with his girlfriend early Saturday morning, causing the Fort Worth Police to investigate. Manziel was not arrested, but the police are still looking into the matter, CBS News reported. It's the second time in four months that the Browns quarterback had an altercation with his girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, that resulted in the police being involved. In October, police in Avon, Ohio, got a call that a woman was trying to jump out of a car on a highway and that she and a man were having an intense argument. The couple turned out to be Manziel and Crowley. While arguing in the car, Crowley threw Manziel's wallet out the window and opened the door to try and jump out. There were marks on her arm from where Manziel grabbed her to keep her inside. No charges were filed in that incident.

Aside from Manziel's domestic life, his tenure with the Browns is in turmoil. He recently skipped a mandated injury meeting to party in Las Vegas, for which he was fined by the team, and was also seen partying in a Dallas bar with a bottle of liquor in his hand during the AFC Championship game. Manziel was also seen with alcohol on video and later lied about when it was filmed. He entered a treatment facility in February 2015 and was released in April.

Manziel reportedly wants out of Cleveland and to play for the Cowboys, though there is no word if that exchange will happen. Hue Jackson called Manziel a non-starter after being hired as the Browns head coach in January."

I was really hoping the sports media narrative would turn out to be wrong about Johnny. But it's appearing there's no hope for Johnny.

He's an idiot. I'd much rather have Ed from Good Burger back up Romo. I heard rumors about Johnny M. earlier and cringed at the thought.

Technically an upgrade, though. I figure the Texans can draft a star rookie like Goff, Cook, or Hackenberg, and then still sign Johnny as a back-up to compete in camp, sell tickets, and maybe grow-up a little.

Rapelissberger is always dinged-up, but his minor shoulder injury will be healed by next summer. Also, they already drafted a rookie QB last year with Landry.

Why would anybody want RG3? He plays 1 1/2 games per year and the rest of the time you pay him to rehabilitate.

I'd love for Houston to pick Griffin as a backup quarterback that could one day get back to how he was his rookie year, but i'd rather them not get Manziel anytime soon. Manziel doesn't need a football team right now, he needs help to defeat whatever demons are inside of him right now which is most likely alcoholism or drug abuse. There is so much talent in both of these athletes but one is lacking the confidence he once had after injuring his leg and the other is consumed by vices that he cant beat. I pray for both of them to overcome their problems, but if I had to choose today i'd much rather choose Griffin.

Well, Manziel's behavior has gotten way out of hand, and he threatened to kill his girlfriend. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that means he's definitely headed to Dallass! He can be a team leader for Jerrah.

Update:

DALLAS -- Dallas police said Thursday they have referred their domestic violence case against Johnny Manziel to a grand jury, which will consider whether to charge the troubled Cleveland Browns quarterback on allegations that he attacked his ex-girlfriend...

Manziel's attorney, Bradley Beckworth, didn't immediately return an email seeking comment Thursday. Manziel's agent and marketing agency have both dropped him, and the Browns have indicated they will release Manziel as early as March 9, when the league begins its new calendar year...

The day of reckoning has arrived and he's gone.

(The Sports Xchange) - The Johnny Manziel era in Cleveland is over after two seasons of off-field and on-field struggles for the troubled quarterback.
In a move that was expected two days ago, the Browns officially waived Manziel on Friday.

Manziel, who was selected by the Browns with the 22nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, was expected to be released when the new league year began on Wednesday but he remained on the team's roster.
