Police pull over a car and frisk everyone while man in car bleeds to death.

Stopping to flag them was stupid. Get them to the hospital. If the cop tries to pull you over, pretend it is an escort.
 
true in hind sight they should have just tried to get him to the hospital, but I can understand people being frazzled and wanting to hand over something like to the authorities for help.


but this response to someone that was shot?

Instead of helping, the officers patted down the vehicle's occupants and checked for outstanding warrants, Anderson claims in the suit filed May 20. Randall's brother told the officers that there was a man bleeding in the back of the vehicle, Anderson said.


No excuses.

Of course not. We'd have yelled at them for stopping, not patted them down. Of course we're firefighters and not cops.

while pulling over was foolish (especially in retrospect), that does not excuse the cops

The police did good. The guy was shot by a straight bullet.
Please, they were probably gang memeber.
I am happy, one less thug in the streets.

while i admit i will not exactly cry over gang members, i do cry over our constitution...what is left of it

although the supremes did give bush a kick in the ass - i wonder if he expected that when he put those anti-abortion types on the court...

If this course of events are true then the Police officers involved should be tried for manslaughter.

Actually, I just read the comments on the page and posted the most digusting and sick one there. Newspapers shouldn't allow comments, because only morons post there.

Opening up a comments section doesn't have anything to do with the first amendment. All people do is post trash there. I've never seen an article a comments section didn't detract from.

The point wasn't to excuse the cop.
 
Ill be someone had forgotten to change his Drivers liscense after having had eye surgery, that would have justified this, at least amung the conservatives on this message board.
