“The U.S. economy has remained remarkably strong even amid persistent inflation and high interest rates,” writes CNBC. “And yet, 59% of Americans falsely believe that the U.S. is currently in a recession, according to a recent survey of 2,000 adults[.]”“Citing higher costs and difficulty making ends meet, most respondents said they think a recession started roughly 15 months ago,” the report continues, “ and could last until July 2025[.]”

I would be one of them saying fervently that our country is headed in the wrong direction. We have millions of people actually wanting Trump back in office...running our nation. Any country with that many wrong-headed people IS headed in the wrong direction.

Poll is from a month ago, from some lending company called “affirm,” whoever the hell they are, and there have been plenty of more recognized polls since then that refute Brietfart’s framing, not to mention that there are always polls, new ones every hour, wait and look long enough and anyone can find one they can manipulate to support their view, as Breitfart did here
