Michael Angelo De La Cruz, 31, of Phoenix, commandeered a pick up truck today and crashed it into a van that was carrying a women who was infected with a parasite early Thursday.
Phoenix Police are quoted as saying that while they don't condone anyone taking such a matter into their own hands, they applaud Michaels quick thinking and fast actions.
An unnamed source was quoted as saying: "This young man more then likely saved this young women's entire future, by ridding her of this unwanted parasite.
