Whoops! Did you fall for these lies?

The conservative media company behind the book and film “2,000 Mules,” which alleged a widespread conspiracy by Democrats to steal the 2020 election and was embraced by former president Donald Trump, has issued an apology and said it would halt distribution of the film and remove both the film and book from its platforms.

In a statement posted to their website, Salem Media Group, Inc. apologized specifically to Mark Andrews, a voter from Georgia falsely depicted illegally voting in “2,000 Mules.”

It does not have to be true. The Trumpys are programmed to believe whatever Trump, Fox, and OAN tell them. The left told them the movie was bullshit. It resulted in right-wingers crudely insulting them. The ones who swallowed that lie are here in great numbers. I am sure they will still believe it.

There is a rightwing cottage industry that knows MAGA morons are exceedingly easy to dupe, and easy to part them from their money.
I'm not making a blanket, cover all statements, but there were a concerning number of Republicans who truly believed, at least for some amount of time, in some of the craziest shit one can believe in. Well-known lawyers were going on TV talking about Venezuela controlling our voting machines. It was absolutely insane for a while.

For the most part, Republicans have significantly backtracked and are now referring to the so-called rigging as being only linked to some of the voting rules changes that were made due to COVID.

There are still a concerning number who buy into the suitcases of magical Biden ballots, armies of mules, semi trucks full of more magical Biden ballots, etc but they are largely marginalized at this point.

Darn. The maga cult is going to have to find some new propaganda to spew.

But some of the film’s staunchest promoters, including Rudolph W. Giuliani, who attended a screening at Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump’s residence in Palm Beach, Fla., and Fox News, which aired several segments about the film, later admitted that they had peddled lies about the election. In February, a lawyer for True the Vote told a Georgia court that it had no evidence to support its allegations of election fraud in the state.
