Re: the idea that Hillary is "battle tough"
The new campaign strategy for Hillary's team is to paint Obama as being extremely vulnerable to the GOP attack machine, which Clinton has somehow proved she can "withstand." After all, she did have to endure the worst from a candidate as formidable as Rick Lazio in one of the bluest states in the union.
Aside from the fact that what he'll face from the GOP won't differ a heckuva lot from what the Clintons have already dished out on race & drugs, I can't help but think the following:
