LOL, America has stomped on the libertarian lifestyle since we became America.

Perhaps the most Libertarian Americans ever were the western pioneers right after the revoloution. Self sufficient and unemcumbered, then the whiskey tax and rebellion happened....
Washington led more troops to collect the whiskey tax than in any battle of the revoloution.

for sure, anyone who would even hint that the government be strictly bound by the wording of the constitution should be outright committed, no hearing or anything. In fact, they should probably execute their entire family so they can stamp out the gene of liberty.
