America got its ass handed to us,terrible captains pick,Woods 0-4,Phil 0-3,other one 0-2
Europes Captains picks got 7 points.
Do the math,we lost by 7
 
Not surprising. Europeans have more experience in match play

Just a different style of play even our best golfers struggle with
 
The course was set up to hurt the Americans. Phil has the lowest percentage of fairways hit on tour. Tight fairways and punative rough made him a loss. The Americans brought rocket launchers to an accuracy convention.

Anf Europeans made putts. Americans did not.

The Americans could have played the French Open on that course,before the Ryder Cup.
Phil had no business being a Captains pick!
I thought the course was great,both teams had to play the same course.

Yeah, and the European team was far more familiar with the course and it played to their strengths. Can you picture Bubba playing there? And DJ was a star all year, but not on those narrow fairways. Furyk did not pick well.
