The mother called the school about an unspecified “extreme emergency” involving Colt sometime before the shooting began, Gray’s sister Annie Brown told the Washington Post and later confirmed to CNN.

A 10-minute call was placed from Marcee Gray’s phone to the school at 9:50 a.m., the Washington Post reported. Police were notified of the shooting around 10:20 that morning, CNN previously reported.

Marcee Gray later confirmed the call to the Washington Post, which reported Gray “declined to elaborate on what had prompted her to call in the warning to the school, but said she had shared that information with law enforcement.”

So this little Trans POS was on the FBI radar for a year...the school was warned 30 mins before... they could have had a SWAT team there by 10:00......almost as if the folks who COULD have stopped it didn’t want to.

Wait a minute, so now it is the school’s fault some 14 year old dimwit decided to bring the semi automatic weapon his parents gave him for Christmas to school?

Do you think that mother might have thought eight months ago that a semi automatic weapon just might not be appropriate as a gift for a teenager

Just some 14 year old dimwit huh?????....one that was known by the FBI for making threat to shoot up a school

Schools responsibility to protect students in their care

They get a call from a mother worried about her kid who was being bullied and that was known by the FBI and local cops for making threats to shoot up a school..... and did nothing

We as a nation could have stopped it. But we didn't want to. In fact, as a nation, we seem to really enjoy this sort of thing.

Otherwise we'd made substantive and real change at the level it is actually needed.

Poor anchovies, Did you read what you wrote? The simple answer to your stupid statement is YES. The school was the last in line to stop this tragedy and they fucked the pooch. Before that, we have the failures of the FBI and local police. First in line is the parents and if you stop typing here and spend more time researching his parents you will get a lot smarter as to why shit like this happens.

Local police investigated and judged it nonthreatening, the dimwit posted threats online, and the FBI reviewed the reports

And it is comical this coming from a Trumpkin who just a year ago was bitching because the FBI was checking out parents who publicly threatened school board members

Bigger question what type of society makes it alright to give a 14 year old kid who makes threats a semi automatic weapon

The schools official who ignored this call is as guilty as the Dad.

Sure did, and to recap what I told your fellow Red Hat comrade, the kid made a threat online, and the local police checked it out and found it a kid making a threat online, which isn’t uncommon in America these days. Did you think they were going raid and take the kid’s Christmas presents away? You cultist would be screaming they violated his Constitutional rights

The tragedy is that America, least parts of America, think it is totally acceptable to give a 14 head old kid a semi automatic weapon, that is where the problem started, and where it should have been eliminated

FBI didnt do shit...they referred the tip to locals

The kid said he didnt do it and they said OK and left!

They didnt search the house or his room at that time!

Officer in 2023 threat case told alleged Georgia school shooter: ‘I gotta take you at your word’

FBI alert about Colt Gray dismissed by Jackson County sheriff’s investigators after teen said he didn’t threaten to shoot school

Cops OK we believe you BYE

How teens say ...I didnt do anything wasnt me nope

"I promise I would never say something [like that]," Colt Gray said of the reported school shooting threat, according to a transcript of his interview with the officer.

The officer then told Colt Gray, "I gotta take you at your word, and I hope you're being honest with me."

"Oh yes, sir," Colt Gray responded.

A pinky promise..And that was it! I am surprised they didnt take him out for Ice Cream and target shooting at their police shooting range

They dropped the ball...the school dropped the ball when they got the call a full 30 mins before the shooting!!!!!!

Which is what they are suppose to do, as I said it is comical how those that keep crying the Government should stay out of peoples lives are now blaming the FBI cause they didn’t raid the house and confiscate all weapons, Fox prime time talking heads would have had a field day with that one

Poor anchovies,

At that point, everything rested on the parents to discipline the boy and secure the firearm. BUT, you ran from the most important point which was the warning the school got a half hour before the shooting started.

The call comes in, the entire staff is immediately put on high alert, all entry doors are locked from the inside, and the resource officers make ready.

BTW,
Those resource officers who stopped the killing would not have been there if Heels Up Harris ever becomes president.

I tire of hearing over and over the fact "this individual was on the FBI's radar" It happens in most cases and it is the same FBI that can't find the cocaine that was left in the White House with DNA on the baggie, or has yet to locate the person who left TWO pipe bombs near DNC and RNC headquarters on J6 even though there is a video of the individual at the scene.

Fear not though, before we assume the FBI is totally incompetent, these courageous lads and lassies were able to identify 1200 or so people on the Capitol grounds on J6 and lock them up, some for just being in the crowd outside the building.

Boys were often given a .22 rifle and taught how to shoot it at the age of 12. Sort of a 'right of passage' birthday. Many teenagers have fond memories of going out hunting with their father.

Schools used to have gun clubs (some still do!). You brought your gun to school for gun club.

Don't need a SWAT team.

Allow staff to carry. Install steel drop doors that can be activated from the office. Install lockable doors on the classrooms.
An isolated shooter just shoots himself.

The FBI has no such authority.

Taking guns away from people is very difficult in America since the goofball Supremes have decided there is a Constitutional right to any weapon you want. If you take a gun away, you better have deep pockets if you lose a court case for taking a constitutional right away.
