Four protesters who were jailed for writing anti-police graffiti in chalk on a temporary barricade near a Seattle police precinct have been awarded nearly $700,000 after a federal court jury decided their civil rights were violated.

The 1 January 2021 arrests of the four followed the intense Black Lives Matter protests that were held in Seattle and numerous other cities throughout the world the previous summer in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

The Seattle police department will be about useless going forwards, by design of the WOKE Death Cult.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) lost 38 officers, including recruits, as of June 3, 2024. Conversely, they only hired or rehired 15 officers this year, leaving Seattle Police with its lowest staffing levels since 1958.

1958 1,021,000
2024 3,549,000

Taking part in that giant, butthurt temper tantrum thrown on behalf of another thug makes them all thugs AFAIC.

Or thug lovers.

Almost as bad.
On New Year’s Day 2021, the four protesters had used chalk and charcoal to write messages like “Peaceful Protest” and “Free Them All” on a temporary barricade near the police department’s east precinct. Body cam images introduced at trial showed at last three police cruisers responded to the scene to arrest the four for violating the city’s anti-graffiti laws.

They were arrested for writing on a wall with chalk.

That doesn't mean it's all they did.

They could've been hurling rocks five minutes earlier.

Besides, just the fact that they were out in the streets in support of that useless waste of oxygen Floyd makes them thug lovers in my book.

Feel free to disagree.

Unless the law excuses the use of chalk in the definition of what constitutes graffiti, they broke the law.

And in typical fashion these days, they put on their sad, innocent baby faces, ran to the press, got an attorney and played the victim card for as much as they could grab.

Then the soft headed jury sympathized with them as do their soft headed supporters.

Whatever.

No skin off my ass.

There is a pretty good chance that we are not being told the truth about what they wrote, that there were in fact death threats towards cops.

Any excuse to hammer cops is how Seattle rolls now, which is why they are having trouble filling the ranks with even the WOKE.
