Should the USA have surrendered to Japan after Pearl Harbor? Should the USA surrender to Russia today? I guess if we always surrender to everyone, there will be no more wars... But it does not make sense to me.

Giving Putin concessions he could not win in war is just rewarding him for both invading and failing.
