Here is my take on this debate where so many on the left are lying, flailing and fabricating asinine claims that will never come true.

It’s quite simple. Trump recognizes that there isn’t actually any free or fair trade in the globalist world Democrats and RINOs built.

He recognizes that there is no even playing field when dealing with nations engaged in currency manipulation, work force and environmental exploitation and policies that limit imports through their own tariffs and regulations.

Therefore, the common-sense economic solution is making products here and by lowering taxes, increased wage rates and lower energy costs, we will become an economic powerhouse.

That is a better future than continuing to watch our debt skyrocket and prosperity decline as a consumer-based nation.

Again, there can be no negotiating with Marxist Asian nations who exploit workers and manipulate currencies.

The same goes for third world nations engaged in the same thing.

You cannot fairly compete with regimes where workers make a pittance, safety and environmental regulations are non-existent even without tariffs.

There might be some room with Canada and Europe because they have the same or higher costs as we do so the playing field can be leveled by removing all barriers. I doubt that any European nation or Canada are smart enough to do this for fear of US dominance. So again, the tariffs will remain in place.

Then there is Asia and South America. The problem here is there can NEVER be a level playing field because workers in Asian and South American countries are exploited by severely low wages as is their environment and there are no environmental regulations combined with the reality that many of these countries manipulate their currencies.

So yes, the billionaire class of globalists have profited greatly by gutting our industries and shipping them overseas.

The solution is simple. Level the playing field with tariffs and import duties, bring manufacturing back to the US and with lower energy costs, lower taxes and higher wage growth, the US will become and economic powerhouse that everyone on the globe will want to participate in.

Or, we can do what we have always done and become a debt-ridden consumer-based society in decline while Wall Street globalists tell us to continue to eat cake.
