Lawmakers have reached a deal on a sweeping farm bill that would cut food stamps by about $800 million per year.

over ten years.......also cuts $19 billion from farm subsidies......less than the $21billion proposed by Republicans in the house.....food stamps were cut $8billion instead of the $18billion passed by the house.....the cut approved is a 1% reduction in food stamp funding......following a 45% increase under the Obama administration......

So the republicans agreed to a 44.3% increase in food stamps. Fantastic.
