...is the Speaker of the House.

IF the House votes to vacate the Speakership of Kevin McCarthy...and elects someone else to that position...that person will be second in line.

Since the Speakership does not have to go to a member of the Congress...the Republican majority of the House could, conceivably, elect Trump to the Speakership...

...who would become second in line for the presidency.

And if an unfortunate accident should happen to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris...he would automatically become president...and be able to pardon himself and all the people he wants to pardon besides himself.

Whew!

I have never seen Trump indicate that he is interested in this, and by my count the majority of the R's in the house are Uniparty...they would never go for this.

I think you can take this off your worry list Frank.

Trump has never worked for a living. He is not ready to start at his age and condition. He dragged his fat ass down to the Oval Office at 11 am and turned on Fox Gnus. He did as little real work as humanly possible. He strained the presidential chair for a few hours, then played golf or cheated on his wife.

Why, this is a conspiracy theory the equal of any that the late QAnon has come up with! Except that it was actual Republicans who first invented it.
