Can we get a site countdown clock somewhere on the main page that begins counting down from 365 days, 0 hrs, 0 mins, 0 sec. on 12/21/11? It would be a lot of fun to have our own Mayan Clock.
 
Awesome, thanks! We'll need one that defaults to GMT, and then adjusts to your settings for when you log-in, the way date-time stamps adjust on posts.
 
Isn't the end of the Mayan calendar on 12/21/12?

And, yes, I am going to be prepared.

Prepared to eat a nice, juicy NY strip along with a pound or so of king crab legs on 12/24/12. Christmas Eve dinner, ya know....

Nope, winter solstice ends the Mayan calendar, hence the countdown begins on 12/21/11 counting backwards 365 days until zero would hit on 12/21/12...
