State of California proposes socializing oil refineries there

Yep, the State of California is worried that many of the 9 refineries in the state will shutter their operations. Chevron is already making moves to leave. The state of California is worried this will send gas prices through the roof and that they'll get a smackdown from neighboring states that get their gasoline from California refineries.

Their solution? Socialize the refineries and have the state run them, subsidizing their operation if necessary...

Take a look at what a cluster fuck their legal weed program continues to be if you have any illusions that California has the competence to run oil refineries.

Not Remotely.

Since you kids opposed common sense regulation for them for decades this was gonna happen sooner or later.

There is no "common sense" in California's government. The opposition to them comes from the radical Leftist greentard movement that lacks both common sense and any resemblance of intelligence.

They are ideologically possessed with neo-marxist revolutionary fever.

Not being in the oil and gas industry I'm not familiar with the 'common sense' regulation that has been proposed for them that has (I'm assuming) been rejected and is leading to this potential outcome by the state of California. What are these regulations you're speaking of? And are you talking about the country as a whole or are you saying we kids in California have been against this regulation for decades?

Walz pretty much follows what Newsome does and outlawing gas powered cars and mandates on the power grid are his norm. Walz has taken a stand against energy production and costs for natural gas and electricity are up 35%
